Track and Henderson Tramway. A classic Kaimai tramp
starting at the summit of Highway 29, going north along
the North-South track as far as the Hurunui Hut, then
down the Western Henderson Tramway to the Old Kaimai Road.

and Mt Te Aroha. A tramp in the footsteps of the gold
miners of last century and a climb into the clouds cloaking
the mountain of love.

of the range and back, taking in some some great ecology
and some not-so-great history.

love river crossings. It starts not far from Galagea and
follows the Horomanga River.

A walk through the heart of the northern Kaimais.

Falls. Waterfalls that gush out of a cliff face.

Island. An expedition to the Wild South for an extended
period of unparalled tramping.

A hill with a view on a fine day. It's on the edge of
the Ureweras and it's a kilometer high. Next year it's
going to be fine.

A walk on a pumice plateau.

Beautiful lake, illusive rata trees, photos never lie.

Close to home but a million miles away. An easy walk at
the foot of the Kaimais.
